It's About Family History!

Growing up, my father, an amateur photographer, working in quality control for Kodak was always taking pictures of my siblings and me at birthdays, family events, church functions, and so on.  Photography started as a hobby for me and I remember my father standing over my shoulder offering advice to make my work better.

During college, I studied American Social History.  I spent several years not only reading books and writing papers but also looking at photographs.  While I realize the written word is important, for me, it was the photographs that completed the story. 

In June 2003, Preferred Photography started with the idea that a photography company could offer a wide variety of services, maintain high standards of quality and customer service while focusing on families and their histories.
